- Only one (1) player from the shooting team may sweep a rock at any given time
- The shooting team's resting sweeper may walk along with the active sweeper and provide verbal guidance so long as the resting sweeper maintains at least 6’ of distance from the active sweeper
- The active sweeper may pass the rock to his/her skip/third for further sweeping so long as such transfer maintains at least 6’ of physical separation
- The shooting team’s skip/third shall have first priority to sweep his/her rock behind the T-line with the non-shooting team’s skip/third maintaining at least 6’ of separation.
- If the shooting team’s skip/third does not wish to sweep behind the T-line, he/she shall step aside and permit the non-shooting team’s skip/third to sweep if they wish
- If rocks from both teams are in motion behind the T-line, skips/thirds shall make best efforts to maintain maximum physical separation
