REGISTER NOW – Turkey Spiel 2021
** Unfortunately, we were unable to confirm enough individuals and team registrations in order to host the Turkey Spiel this year. Thank You to those that did register and for those of you that reached out individually to offer help and individual participation. We are grateful for your support and all registration fees will be automatically refunded by SPCC. That said, we will focus our efforts on next year so that we can plan ahead knowing that there will be more sponsors, activities and prizes. We wish all of you and your families a happy and healthy Thanksgiving weekend. Good Curling! Gabe Hart, Steve Rooney, Doug Lieser and Jason Folken **
2021 TURKEY SPIEL – 2 Days Fri 11/26 & Sat 11/27 Hello Fellow Curlers, Last year we missed the opportunity to get together in November to kick off the curling bonspiel season. While we understand the reasons for the cancellation, we want to gather THIS YEAR and hopefully start a new tradition of a Turkey Spiel that will replace the Fabulous Fireball 500. The Fireball has been a favorite bonspiel for a fun and competitive curling weekend. While this year has to be simpler and focused on getting together, we will make sure that future years are filled with more sponsors, activities, and prizes. Help us keep the tradition of having the St. Paul Curling Club full of our curling families on Thanksgiving weekend. Please register for the Turkey Spiel using the following link: We are hoping for 32 teams with a minimum of 16 teams. If that does not happen, teams that register will be fully refunded. Event Details: Cost: $300.00 per team Location: SPCC – St. Paul Curling Club Dates/Times: Friday 11/26 Noon to Saturday 11/27 evening Format: 4 events with 3 game guarantee (teams may play 2 draws on Friday) Includes: Food and Beverages will be provided – Details to follow with registrations *All entry fees will be spent on services provided by SPCC and any “leftovers” will be donated to SPCC. We understand these ideas may or may not be successful and may or may not hinder our ability to have a fun. We have to start somewhere and figure out a way to have safe and fun Bonspiels. You don’t have to like these rules (we definitely don’t) but everyone needs to abide by them.
Registration Deadline: Friday November 19, 2021 If you are unable to register online but would like to participate, please send an email to Jason Folken (This email address is being protected from spambots.
