The Twin Cities Curling Association and The Big Spiel will follow the health and safety protocols of our affiliate clubs during the event. This may include requirements such as proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test prior to participating in the event.

The Big Spiel™ will begin on Thursday, 1/12/2023. Actual draw times are TBD, but the first game will not start prior to 4PM. Some teams may not play until Friday… so we will do what we can to accommodate out-of-town teams with late arrival. All teams should be expected to play at least one game on Friday during the day. If you have special starting time requests, this must be emailed to TBS after your registration is confirmed. Draws will be held at all 4 clubs and teams should play in no less than 3 of the venues. The Semi & Finals for events 1-8 will be held at St. Paul on Sunday.  The Semi & Finals for events 9-10 will be held at Frogtown on Sunday.

In case you were not aware, the TCCA is a 501 c(3) organization and the The Big Spiel is a charitable event helping to fulfill the TCCA mission, which includes but is not limited to junior curling. If you have a company or organization that would like to aid in that mission or become a sponsor, please notify us at: This email address is being protected from spambots.
