A big congratulations to Madison’s Patti Lank team for winning the Bonnies’ Cold Cash spiel. Runner-up of the main event was the Hultstrand rink (SPCC - Marsha Hultstrand, Margie Smith, Debbie Dexter, & Peggy Gazzola). The 2nd event was won by the Deuhs rink (SPCC - Mary Deuhs, Kelsey Ostrowski, Kim Roden, & Erin Krug); runners-up were the Mueller rink (SPCC - Pam Mueller, Kim Wapola, Barb Klussendorf, Ruth Taylor). 3rd event winners were the Lori Karst rink from Madison, who defeated the ‘Horn’s Hogline Honeys’ rink from St. Paul/Columbus, Albany, & Mayfield (Debbie Horn, skip & Connie Kupferschmidt from SPCC). The 4th Event was won by the Smith rink (SPCC - Julie Smith, Tracy Lindgren, Carol Strojny, Vicki Forconi) with runner-ups to ‘Arzburger’/McCann rink (SPCC - Jean McCann, Amy Anderson, Michelle Perry, & Karen Volkman).
The 2017 theme was ‘Off the Farm’ with plenty of farm costumes to display & square dancing, including a caller on Saturday night for entertainment! Thanks go to John Armstrong, Nate Olson, Paul Fraboni, Adam Graham, & Jerry Gartner for serving up the wonderful food to the curlers on Saturday night - everybody had a great time!!! Thanks also go to Brooke Lee, Laura D’Ambrosio, & Julie Carlson for running the event this year and to Lynn Struck & crew for serving up some wonderful meals for everybody!! Can’t wait to see what next year’s theme is…..
