• St. Paul Cash Spiel - October 10-12th, 2014

    The St. Paul Curling Club will host one of the first World Curling Tour events of the season: The St. Paul Cash Spiel, October 10-12th, 2014. Top teams from around the country will be competing in both Men's and Women's events to earn cash and to climb up the World Curling Tour standings. This is a great chance for members and guests to come down to the St. Paul Curling Club and watch the best curling around!

  • Instructor Clinic hosted by the SPCC

  • Head Ice Technician Job Opening

    The St. Paul Curling Club is looking for a Head Ice Technician to join our team and help continue our proud 100+ year legacy.  The SPCC is an active 8-sheet facility with the largest membership roster in the United States.  The Club operates from October through May and conducts up to 4 draws per day during the winter season.  The Club also provides clubroom and ice rental for private and corporate groups several days per week. 

    The Head Ice Technician is a critical member of the SPCC team and plays a lead role in maintaining and improving the quality of curling ice at the Club. Ice Technician Level 1 Certification or equivalent experience is required. The SPCC supports continuing education and expects the Head Ice Technician to increase proficiency via course work or ice-making participation at state, national, and international events.

  • Dex's Curling Clinic October 25th and 26th

    Once again Dex will be hosting his annual curling clinic October 25th (noon to 8pm) and 26th (8:30am-1:00pm). This clinic is designed for curlers with 3 years or more of on ice experience. Areas of instruction that will be covered are balance, line of delivery, rock release, sweeping and strategy. Registration will be open to the first 24 participants. Cost is $150.00 per person.   • Juniors Curling Kickoff Saturday, September 27

    The Saturday Juniors Program kicks-off this Saturday, September 27. Junior Curling is free to members, family and friends. The program is intended to introduce the sport, teach fundamentals of the game, and foster sportsmanship and competitive play in the "Spirit of Curling". The program also offers a competitive atmosphere and instruction for those interested in pursuing league play or bonspiel participation. The Curl USA program will be available for those interested.

    The program is open to kids from ages 6 to 18. Sessions are held Saturdays from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. of non-bonspiel weekends starting with our Kick-Off on Saturday, September 27. Club equipment is available for use, all that is required is a desire to learn, have fun and a clean pair of shoes.
