Since 1912, the St. Paul Curling Club has been one of the most storied homes of curling in the United States. It’s where generations have learned the game, built friendships, and found a second home. Caring for a building of this age is an ongoing commitment—each season brings necessary repairs, upgrades, and improvements to keep it safe, functional, and welcoming.
To meet these needs responsibly, the Club partnered with the St. Paul Curling Foundation to create the Building Improvement & Historic Preservation Fund. This dedicated charitable fund supports building repairs, upgrades, and preservation at 470 Selby Avenue. All gifts made here go directly to this fund within the Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Recognizing the need for a dedicated source of charitable support for the building, the Board of the St. Paul Curling Club worked with the St. Paul Curling Foundation to create the Building Improvement & Preservation Fund. The Foundation holds and manages the fund, and all contributions made through this page are designated for this specific purpose.
The fund will support essential building needs such as structural repairs, mechanical and electrical upgrades, safety and accessibility improvements, ice-related infrastructure, and long-term preservation projects that protect the integrity and function of the St. Paul Curling Club building.
No. Day to day operating costs are covered by dues and club activities. The Building Improvement & Preservation Fund is dedicated exclusively to building improvements and preservation projects related to the St. Paul Curling Club.
Yes. All contributions made through this page support the Building Improvement & Preservation Fund at the St. Paul Curling Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt for your records from Givebutter on behalf of the Foundation.
Yes. You can recommend a grant from your Donor-Advised Fund to the St. Paul Curling Foundation and designate it for the Building Improvement & Historic Preservation Fund. Please follow your DAF provider's instructions and include that designation with your request.
Yes. If you are 70½ or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution allows you to give directly from your IRA to the St. Paul Curling Foundation and may reduce your taxable income. For many donors, a QCD can also count toward their Required Minimum Distribution. Your IRA custodian must complete this transaction.

Guests and spectators are always welcome to visit our club and watch live curling games from our heated club room and upstairs bar area. League games are played Monday through Sunday, from 4pm to 11pm, from early Oct. to mid-April. Spring league runs from mid-April until the end of May.
